Who We Are:

We are Lyn & Art and live in San Diego, CA.  Our country property is surrounded by native oak trees and manzanita bushes, hence our kennel name.  We have had dogs most of our lives, but brought our first Ridgeback into our family in 1997.  Since then, we have enjoyed many activities with these wonderfully sensitive, athletic and humorous dogs.  We enjoy lure coursing, conformation, agility, and even some sheep herding.

We breed occasionally, concentrating on quality for conformation, performance, and good companion temperaments.  Currently, we don't have puppies available to place, but please see photos from past litters.   Click here for more info and photos.
